We are looking for Machine Operators for 1st / 2nd / 3rd shifts

Pay: $19.00 – $23.00 per hour depending on experience

Job description:

We are hiring machine operators in several different locations! We have openings in the Asheville, Arden, Fletcher, and Hendersonville areas! We have openings on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift. Our needs range from entry level positions with one year experience needed. If you are able to read/use a micrometer that is a plus and have CNC experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate large industrial machines
  • Read and follow work instructions to identify correct stock and blueprint reading a plus
  • Remove scrap & waste material.
  • Perform general housekeeping procedures to ensure a safe, efficient work environment.
  • Ability to lift 50-60-pound containers occasionally.
  • Operation of hoist/cranes, ability to read micrometers, working knowledge of various hand tools.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to work in extreme warm/cold temperatures.

Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

Job description:

We are looking for a maintenance technician for a manufacturing company in the Mills River area. Electrical experience is required (Ideally 5 years’ experience)

  • 1st shift 7 a m to 3:30 pm
  • Overtime required
  • Minimum 24 months experience troubleshooting/repairing industrial equipment in an industrial environment
  • Manages parts inventory
  • Must work with Production Supervisor to ensure equipment is maintained properly by operators
  • Tracks equipment breakdowns to develops preventive action plans
  • Report all major issues to General Manager and Production Supervisor
  • Works with General Manager and Production Supervisor to develop and maintain a Preventive Maintenance program for critical equipment
  • Works as a coordinator for outside equipment maintenance vendors
  • Hand tools, power tools, machine tools, welder, band saw, drill press, pipe threader, forklift, platform lifts and other specialty equipment
  • Safety equipment – Safety glasses, steel toed shoes, hearing protection, gloves, face shields and other equipment as designated by the job being performed
