Line/Prep Cook Barista Dishwasher NEEDED at Raleigh (RDU) Airport

Line Cook (15/Hr) / Prep Cook ($14/Hr)

Responsibilities: • Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices
• Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock
• Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
• Season and cook food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience • Turn or stir foods to ensure even cooking
• Respond to guest feedback with appropriate urgency and professionalism
Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a restaurant cook preferred
• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s certification (or must be willing to attain)
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs • Ability to work standing for 8+ hours

BARISTA ($12/Hr)

You will be preparing coffee drinks and food for customers while creating a friendly and hospitable atmosphere. You are passionate about coffee and customer service! Organized, calm, and friendly, you make a point to go above and beyond to make sure customers have exceptional experiences. Responsibilities:

• Greet all customers with a friendly smile; provide friendly, efficient, and personal service to each customer
• Take food and drink orders; understand the food and beverage menu in order to provide the best possible description and execution of menu items to your guests
• Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the coffee preparation process, including specialty drinks
• Accurately and efficiently enter orders into POS system
• Clear and reset counters and tables at the conclusion of each guest visit • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures
Qualifications:
• Previous knowledge of food service regulations preferred
• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification, or willing to obtain
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communications skills
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to utilize quick thinking and apply quick resolution to guest issues in accordance with the brand standards
• Excellent conflict resolution skills • Able to work in a fast-paced environment

DISHWASHERS & Utilities/StockRoom Assistant ($13/Hr):

Responsibilities:
• Wash pots, pans, and trays and polish silver
• Segregate and remove trash and place it in the designated containers
• Sweep and mop floors; wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and all other surface areas
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; restock tools and supplies for the next shift
• Walk the floors and pick up any room service/bar trays
• Maintain temperature logs; keep walk-in cooler/freezer organized
• Bus tables
• Help line cooks properly prep, store, and date food
Qualifications:
• Previous knowledge of food service regulations preferred
• Skilled with the use of hand tools or machines needed for the position
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $12.00 – $15.00 per hour
